Why I like the repeater carbine as well, never let me down whereas the others have, I love the cattleman because its an SAA but I hate how it handles in this game. Close range weapon for me is one Colt Navy and then a sword like machete, funnily enough it works, so little shots that I make them count. If you want the extra power but at a cost to accuracy at fast firing then the Litchfield is good with premium ammunition and in close quarters, puts em down but at range it's 50:50 and I can't have that. I find it to be the best in it's class as a "Repeating Rifle", I tend to be a sharpshooter though so for gunfighters at the saloon I'd pick the lancaster. 100 paces and you can hit it, aim upper torso and it's 1-2 shots, and it's accurate theres not much reticule sway and the gun steadies nearly as quickly as the lever action.
The repeater carbine is like a mini rifle with fully upgraded barrel and irons shootin' high velocity. and sum of our boys captured a few ) yee yee! The repeater carbine, I love it, in real life it's a Spencer carbine US Cavalry. The Lancaster's the middle ground for me, slap a short scope on it, brass it up and you've got Clint eastwood's "The Good's" Rifle that he uses to shoot the rope, it's dependable but it's more close range street fighting.
I've also had it 2 shot 5 people and save my life. Ive used the Litchfield a bit and it is in my opinion hit and miss quite literally, I've been crouched 30 paces away aiming centre mass with my crosshair glowing red and 3 shots in a row missing.
